“The High Definition Golf simulator is truly the most accurate technology for indoor golf I’ve come across. Not only do I love the simulator accuracy, the image quality is spectacular, beyond the great technology it’s a wonderful way to spend time improving your golf game or sharing time with friends and family. With the video swing analysis and the new shaft flex module, I believe indoor golf lessons with a golf professional and the HD Golf simulator to be unparalleled.”
Up to this point you probably have about $800-$1,000 wrapped up in the OptiShot and your projector along with another $300 if you’ve built a permanent enclosure, but luckily those represent the last of the major purchases for your home golf simulator.  The rest of the items used in the simulator can be purchased at your discretion to maximize the feel of a real golf outing.
Feedback– A golf simulator can only help you determine how well you are doing if it provides adequate feedback. If the golf simulator tells you how far you are hitting, how close to the mark you are, what your ball speed is and other pertinent information, then you can use that to improve your game and change the way you swing for the better. Without that kind of information, though, you’ll be training somewhat blindly, not sure if you need to make changes to become better.
This is the same golf simulator that a lot of pro shops use. It comes packed with all the features, like weather effects, portable design, detailed readouts and more. It’s one of the most expensive simulators you will find, so consider if it fits into your budget before you get too interested in it. If you plan to simulate the game for the long haul, though, then this is probably the way to go.
The Fairway Pro is unlike any other golf practice aid. It is a revolutionary golf mat that works based on a patented technology which allows the mat to slide forward in the direction of your swing, so as to simulate the process of carving out a divot on real turf. This makes it much more accurate than conventional golf mats. With traditional golf mats, unless you invest in a soft silicon-based mat of exceptionally high quality, which of course will be very pricey as well, you do not get an accurate feel of real grass. These golf mats have significantly lesser give than real grass. As a result, the club, when swung, tends to bounce off the mat on impact. The force of the impact relays back at you, into the player’s wrist and elbow, while the ball receives much less momentum than it should have.

Not only can you record your swings, but you can actually replay them in a 360-degree view. This basically means that you do not just view your swing as if a camera recorded it, but instead, you get to see it from any angle you like, giving you an intimate understanding of how you perform. On top of all that, the fact that it offers 8 hours of battery time against only 1.5 hours of charging makes it very convenient to own.
Here is a golf simulator that includes a unique feature which involves a tethered regulation golf ball and optical signal processing technology. This will provide you with un-matched realism. The tethered ball is a brilliant addition that was designed to recreate the impact physics of a golf ball. Moreover, by using a convenient tether (spinning the ball) together with an accurately adjusted pivot, the golf ball will be able to replicate the same forces to the club you are using as a real golf ball. That way, you will experience authentic sound, performance, and feel using your own clubs, from driving to putting.

Competitors typically use lower cost, inferior components, such as: Home PC’s to run their simulators, which tend to suffer from instability and frequent required updates. They also use polypropylene turf, single element-screens with high elasticity-rebound and reduced longevity. Both screens & turf last a half-life when compared to our in-house designed screens & turf. Other areas of compromise extend to their 3rd party cameras which capture your swing, but don’t form a complete alliance with the rest of the system.

The amount of space you have in your home for a golf simulator is also another critical factor to consider. Cory stressed that you want to have enough space to swing a club comfortably. Many times he has seen clients squeeze simulators into small spaces. They may have seemed appropriate before installation, but the golfers found it very difficult to swing freely once the screen and net were set up.

Excellent concept! Works as advertised. Everything is plastic so it wont rust but also effects durability. The golf bag clip feels flimsy and only time will tell how long it will last. Fits and holds my s7 phone perfectly. Prefer this device over having my wife film me because the recording is far more stable. Nice velour bag keeps everything together. I like it.
As well as being able to offer winter golf practice and performance programs for teams and individuals, the TrackMan simulator golf solution also lets you put any extra floor space to good use. A: Keep in mind that it will vary, depending on the product you decide on. A simulator with performance feedback is obviously going to give you the most rapid improvement as it analyzes every little detail and gives you immediate feedback on how to correct your swing. In general, though, you’re going to see your skills better with any of these training tools.
The thing is, golf simulators are genuinely worth the money. They’re excellent for recreational use, training golf swings, and keeping your swing in shape without having to go to the golf course. A number of the pricier designs are even capable of helping you to fit your golf clubs, and the sensors will provide you data about errors that you are making in your swing.

I love this thing! I can play 18 holes anytime I want, rain or shine. Couple of points; Putting not so great but once you get the hang of it, not so bad either. I would recommend using the long/short tee on every shot. While it's pretty sturdy in the base, metal, the housing is plastic and the first one I had shattered on a miss hit by one of my friends who did not use a tee. Lesson learned. Excellent feed back on swing speed, plane and face position at impact. really has helped me correct some minor issues. I bought a Rukket 10x7ft Haack Golf Net (great product!) and use it indoor. You can swing without a golfball, of course, but I like the feel of the ball on the club face. What can I say, I've played 18 ... full review
At this price point, you are most likely looking at an OptiShot simulator. It’s currently around $300, and this is the entry level. You can have plenty of fun with a product like this, but be aware that the accuracy is limited. Optishot only measures the speed, path, and face angle of your club. From there it calculates where your ball is going but is not directly measuring the actual golf ball after impact. So you might not make great contact, but OptiShot would simulate a shot that was struck almost perfectly. It is essential to understand that the info provided could be misleading on individual shots, which could frustrate players.
I am doing a DYI system and would like to have a left and right handed tee position. I only have 12 feet between my walls. The system I have allows to move the hitting position off center by 2 feet. When I set that up, it doesn’t seem like there is enough space between the two hitting areas to stand. What is the preferred spacing and what position do you recommend?
The first comment I will make is if you go into purchasing this product assuming you will get the same accuracy as a $10,000 simulator, you shouldn't purchase this. Expensive professional simulators use ball tracking to provide the most accurate 'simulation' to an actual hit outdoors. They also require large equipment, and in most cases a dedicated room to be used solely for the golf simulator. This simulator uses swing (club) tracking to provide calculations and assumptions on where the ball should go.
TrackMan 4-driven simulator golf is a complete indoor coaching and simulator solution in one device. At the midpoint price level is Golfzon’s Vision Standard. Don’t let the name fool you—it’s far from a Spartan offering. The system’s sensors capture your swing, impact and spin, not only displaying your ball flight but recording key data points, which are stored via the cloud on various electronic devices. With 180 elegant courses and dozens of practice arcade games, boredom will not be an issue.
