In reality, a golf swing happens very quickly, and can be difficult to improve, especially when you don’t have analytics and recording technology to visualize the swing. Subtle adjustments can result in dramatic improvements – it’s critical you understand your individual swing dynamics. You don’t need to be computer savvy to use the Golf Studio. The integrated Golf Studio operates from a single touch screen, and is simple to use.
We invented revolutionary image processing software to combine high-resolution digital-images, satellite data and geophysical data into 3D models. We are the only manufacturer to use this method and real course data.  HD Golf™ transports you to the world’s most exceptional golf courses – it’s like being there. All other simulator manufacturers use conventional 3D graphics and artist renderings, which look like a video game, not the actual course.
2) You should choose the GC2 SwingBay Golf Simulator if you are a low handicapper and are very serious about improving your game. You will want to go with GC2 over SkyTrak if you want faster shot calculation and improved performance outdoors. Where GC2 really separates itself from SkyTrak indoors is with the Head Measurement Technology (HMT) add-on. GC2's HMT is an additional +$4,900 add-on from the standalone GC2 but this club head data is not a feature included with SkyTrak. Price for the GC2 SwingBay with HMT starts at $18,899.
I have the trainer for about 2 weeks now. I have been using it in my backyard a couple times a day. I am 60 years old in great shape but I've lost a lot of flexabilty; the Gold Flex really helps with this and has increased my range of motion on the back swing. I also live near a driving range and go there about 3 times a week. The first few times I went there after using Gold Flex I was a bit frustrated; I had some improvement, a little more distance and better follow through, but nothing major. Then yesterday at the range I took my driver, setup, relaxed and specifically tried to emulate that backswing I used with the Gold Flex. I connected, and holy smokes, the ball went sailing about 270 yards, and I was only hitting 230 yards when I conneced before. I teed ... full review
Almost every single simulator package is going to require a computer to run its software. Hardware is an added cost that many golfers will not consider. It’s possible you may already have a laptop, tablet, or desktop option that is capable of running the software. Most systems will require a more robust graphics card, which you can easily upgrade on an older computer if you are handy.
This device performs very well considering the price compared to multi-thousand dollar launch monitors. It's extremely easy to use and carry in my bag. I had a problem with it when it first arrived and called Voice Caddy. They were available on the phone, listened to my problem and asked me to send the unit to them. Within hours of them getting the unit, they identified the problem, phoned to tell me about it and shipped it back to me. Not every product is going to work 100% of the time out of the box, it's how the company responds that is important. Voice Caddy did a great job responding.
The amount of space you have in your home for a golf simulator is also another critical factor to consider. Cory stressed that you want to have enough space to swing a club comfortably. Many times he has seen clients squeeze simulators into small spaces. They may have seemed appropriate before installation, but the golfers found it very difficult to swing freely once the screen and net were set up.
The OptiShot features a practice mode with visual feedback plus you can play best ball or match play among other game types, and you can even customize the weather.  The system itself requires a laptop or desktop computer to work (this will add to your total simulator budget if you don’t already own one) that can be hooked up to the TV or streamed to a projector.

My 9 year old daughter has been playing Golf since she was 3 years old and spends most of her time in the Golf course or the range. Last year I splurged and had a Putting, chipping green and also a Bunker installed in our back yard. That allowed us to spend more time at home and also decreased our practice time in half. I said to her the only thing missing is a Virtual Golf course.

If you are just looking to have fun and play some golf, just about any simulator will do the job. But if you want to improve your game and get good stats, feedback, and improve your game, then do your research and buy a simulator that fits your needs. If you are just starting out and trying to learn the fundamentals each “device” has its place and time in your journey through your golf game as it evolves also. So as with anything as Tom said earlier, you get what you pay for, and be realistic in your expectations for each device. The pros use simulators that cost over $100,000 to help their game, but they also use something as simple as towel under their arm during simple drills to help them with a swing thought. So throwing money at your swing won’t make you better, you have to practice and learn this game to get better. Once you understand your swing, grip and stance, then you can start on the other 1,000 tweaks to make your game better. So before you make a big investment in a simulator, make sure you are getting what you want: Recreation or Improvement.
